The Gothic look is an ornate one. Towering cathedrals, dark & romantic settings, gargoyles, antique furniture and tons of candlelight.

It often blends medieval architecture, with Victorian influences. (Think of the mourning culture the Victorian era produced.) It has a very beautiful and unsettling vibe. Think Crimson Peak, Sleepy Hollow, and Dracula.
