A note from Lana: Now for my sanity, because good lord I am working super hard on building this site, I am lumping Synthwave and Vaporwave into this page.

Retrowave is inspired by 1980s pop culture and arcade games. Tron is a good example here. (Synthwave is about the music, and Vaporwave is more of an art aesthetic, though it contains more pastel than Retrowave.)

Perfect for anyone who loves retro aesthetics, neon vibes, and fashion that feels playful, bold, and a little otherworldly. I would even say these people have an affinity for Dark Memphis. (I know I do!)
